(Det sena 90-talets uppväxtlighet. Upploppsmusik. Uppfostringsmisslyckanden. Växlandet mellan apatiskt, långsamt, blankt blickande självsvåld och plötslig asocial aggression.)

The Geist of the techno-precariat. Christoph De Babalon captures all that pretty well on If You’re Into It, I’m Out Of It, moving sometimes clumsily and sometimes very effectively between harsh abuse of the Amen-break (Dead Too) and moody musique concrete (Opium, Brilliance), most often combining the two (What You Call A Life, My Confession).

This is perhaps the finest example of the more angst-ridden side of DHR.
