“We worship television. Television is reality for the Partridge Family Temple. It was 30 years ago that the Partridge Family [show] was cancelled for our sins,” Giddle says. “Now they’re re-creating it. I auditioned for the part of Shirley on the new show, and Danny [member of the original cast] was there. It was magical. This is the resurrection.”
